Imagine yourself standing on the majestic slopes of Mt Shasta, the root chakra of the Earth, enveloped by the serene embrace of towering pines.

The afternoon sun casts a gentle warmth on your skin, while the clean air fills your lungs. As you close your eyes, you hear a gentle rustle through the trees, blending seamlessly with the stillness that holds you. The scent of the pine forest lingers, grounding you in this sacred moment.

As you take a deep breath, you realize you are not alone in this journey; the earth, the trees, the very rocks of this land support and sustain you. Every cell in your body tingles with the remembrance of your innate power and wisdom, flowing through you like the life-giving rivers that nourish the land. Your Retreat Sanctuary

As you arrive at the retreat land nestled in the forested hills near Mount Shasta, something begins to shift. The air is crisp and alive, the trees stand ancient and still, and the sound of Parks Creek calls you inward. This is a place of power, long honored by Indigenous peoples as a site of healing and transformation. The waters here emerge from deep within the Earth, twin springs, one clear and one red with iron. This rare and sacred pairing, also found in Glastonbury, England, exists in only a few places on Earth. These mineral-rich waters offer a profound connection to the Earth’s ancient wisdom.

Accommodations are simple and comfortable, each with its own kitchen and bathroom. Whether in a private room or shared space, you’ll have what you need to rest, nourish, and reconnect.

You might find yourself sitting beside the creek in quiet reflection, gazing at the stars, or walking the land as something ancient stirs within you. This is a place that holds you as you return to yourself through the raw beauty of nature, the potency of the waters, and the quiet wisdom that rises when you slow down.

Cuisine
Meals that Nourish

Our meals are an integral part of the retreat experience, nourishing, beautiful, and infused with care. Food here is more than sustenance. It is a return to rhythm, to pleasure, and to the wisdom of seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation.

Our private chef is truly world class, crafting each meal with creativity, depth, and heart. The menu is primarily vegetarian, using fresh and vibrant ingredients, with occasional options for added chicken, fish, or eggs to support different dietary needs. You will enjoy three delicious meals a day, blending global inspiration with grounding nourishment. Think green Thai curry, roasted vegetable lasagna, chickpea spinach curry, and overnight oats with fresh fruit. Each dish is both satisfying and soulfully prepared.

Meals are shared in community, with the option to dine quietly if that is what you need. Whether you gather around the table with new friends or take your plate to a quiet spot beside the creek, this is food that truly supports the retreat: grounding, healing, and deeply nourishing.

Your Radiant Journey

Each day gently guides you home to joy, clarity, and the luminous path ahead. Please know that we will be guided by intuition and the needs of the moment. This is a gentle outline, open to change as we journey together.

  • Arrive mid afternoon and settle into the quiet beauty of the land. Take time to ground, unpack, and begin to feel the gentle shift as you step away from the outside world.

We’ll gather after dinner for a short welcome session, a simple, spacious opening to arrive together, honor the sacred land and waters, and begin weaving the container for our shared journey.

  • Our first full day begins with a slow, nourishing morning. After breakfast, we ease into the retreat with a morning session that invites you to connect inward and gently awaken your body, breath, and energy.

After lunch and spacious rest time, we’ll come together in circle to set powerful intentions for the journey ahead. Through movement, meditation, and sisterhood, we’ll begin to ignite the light of feminine radiance — not as something to strive for, but as something already alive within you, ready to shine.

  • A restful morning session invites you to drop deeper into stillness, releasing long-held tension and stress. You begin to recognize that the peace you’ve been longing for is already within you, quietly waiting to be remembered.

After lunch, we journey to Mount Shasta itself. The mountain’s powerful presence helps ignite your heart’s true intentions and connects you more deeply with the sacred, living energy of this land. This is a day to listen, receive, and remember who you truly are.

  • The day begins with a nurturing morning yoga session, inviting you to open into self-love and compassion. With each breath, you create space for flow, tenderness, truth, and possibility.

In the afternoon, we venture into nature, learning to listen and receive its wisdom as a trusted ally on your path to radiant expression. Evening brings deeper connection in circle through song, sharing, and sisterhood. This is a space to be seen, held, and softened by love.

  • Summer solstice begins with a deliciously restful and uplifting morning yoga session, setting the stage for celebration. In the afternoon, we gather for solstice ceremony and dance, inviting you to experience heart-opening joy, love, and connection. This is the day you welcome the full radiance of the season and illuminate your brightest self, stepping more fully into your joy, power, and light.

  • This is a day for reflection, stillness, and integration. Morning meditation offers insight and clarity for the path ahead. The rest of the day is open giving space to follow your flow, rest, journal, or explore.

After an early dinner, you’ll reflect on all that has transpired. Surrounded by support from your retreat sisters, you’ll anchor the transformation that has occurred and align with the exciting next steps of living the true call of your heart.

  • After breakfast and time to pack we move into a gentle closing session to help you bridge the retreat experience into everyday life, followed by a final nourishing lunch together. As you embrace and say goodbye to your newfound sisters, your heart is full, overflowing with gratitude, joy, and a sense of quiet transformation.

This is not an ending, but a new beginning. You leave grounded, empowered, and radiant, carrying the light of this journey into the path ahead.

Why Mt. Shasta:

Mt. Shasta rises in Northern California like a beacon. Revered by many as the root chakra of the Earth, a long time ceremonial place for healing for Native American tribes, this ancient volcano is known for its transformative and awakening energy.

Just being here can feel like a soul reset. Visitors consistently report experiencing profound shifts in consciousness – feelings of calm, clarity, unity, and even physical sensations of the mountain’s transformative energy.

You’ll be surrounded by old-growth forests, crystalline lakes, and pure, living spring water that bubbles up from the base of the mountain, so vibrant it seems to awaken every cell in your body.

This land of mystery and magic is a sacred portal where the veil is thin and the connection between Earth and spirit feels tangible. It provides the perfect sanctuary for the kind of soul-level transformation that allows you to remember your oneness with nature, your radiance, and your truest self.

Your Guide

I’m Julia Berkeley, and my life’s journey has been woven across continents and inner landscapes. Born in Africa to English and American parents, my early experiences included the emotional challenges of English boarding school and familial expectations that planted seeds of perfectionism from which I’ve long sought relief.

A pivotal chapter unfolded when I moved to Australia and encountered a meditation practice that transformed my life overnight. I left the corporate world behind and stepped onto a healing path through yoga, kirtan, meditation, dance and shamanic practices. My own struggles with feelings of unworthiness and a longing for deeper connection fueled my quest for true freedom, leading me to the discovery of the light that had always been shining inside of me.

Through my own journey I’ve gathered the tools and passion for guiding others toward their inner radiance. Weaving together yoga, meditation, kirtan, dance, and radiance coaching, I create sacred space for you to explore the vast reservoir of peace, joy, and wholeness within.

Mt Shasta, often called the Earth’s root chakra, offers the perfect setting for this work. The land itself supports and amplifies our collective awakening as we come home to the truth of who we are.

If a voice within is calling you toward something more real and alive, I invite you to listen. Are you ready to honor your heart and join me?
