Uplifting practices and other news from Rishikesh, India

“Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you sometimes tend to think you’ve been buried. Perhaps you’ve been planted.
Bloom."

~ Christine Caine

It's been a while since I've written but I've been very much thinking of you and sending out love from India.

Life planted me in Anand Prakash Ashram in Rishikesh at the foothills of the Himalayas, just before lockdown and here I have remained.
I've actually been in heaven steeped in a daily schedule of yoga, meditation, fire ceremony and more that starts at 4.30am every day. For me this time has been one of potent transformation and growth.

It seems mother nature is also benefitting. It's been amazing to watch her cleansing and healing as we stay inside and refrain from polluting activities. The sky is clearer than ever. The birds can be heard loudly and the river Ganges below is cleaner than she's been for many years.

So how are you doing in the midst of all that has been going on?

Are you feeling buried? Are you blooming? Or perhaps are you experiencing a mixture of the two and a whole lot of other things?

In these intense times many are facing some very uncomfortable feelings ... anxiety, uncertainty, fear, isolation and so many other challenges on both outer and inner planes.

This is not an easy time and yet, there is a great opportunity here for transformation and growth, and dare I say it, the possibility of coming out on the other side shinier and brighter than before.
