What is Kirtan?

Kirtan is a transformational call and response chanting (singing) practice that moves the heart towards an experience of inner silence, boundless love, and intimate union with the Divine. 

While singing is involved you absolutely don’t need to be able to sing, just be willing to give it a go and feel the effects! As you let the vibrations of your voice and the mantra move through your body, you will begin to realign your energy on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

ABOUT SESHEN

Seshen has been facilitating somatic healing and embodiment practices through touch therapy, movement, and sound for the past 15 years. Originally from Japan, she holds a masters degree in music and vocal improvisation from the Norwegian Academy of Music. Her sound healing is deeply influenced by nature, Japanese culture, body-centered healing practice, as well as years of collaboration with Nordic elder shaman, musician, and gong master Bjørn Arne Løken. With her crystal instruments and voice, she composes the music in the moment, attuning to the intention and field that we share.

ABOUT SESHEN

Seshen has been facilitating somatic healing and embodiment practices through touch therapy, movement, and sound for the past 15 years. Originally from Japan, she holds a masters degree in music and vocal improvisation from the Norwegian Academy of Music. Her sound healing is deeply influenced by nature, Japanese culture, body-centered healing practice, as well as years of collaboration with Nordic elder shaman, musician, and gong master Bjørn Arne Løken. With her crystal instruments and voice, she composes the music in the moment, attuning to the intention and field that we share.

Kirtan30, offered twice a month, is your free 30-minute sonic journey out of the mind and into the natural joy of your soul. This is open to everyone and no experience is needed. 

What is Kirtan?

Kirtan is a transformational call and response chanting (singing) practice that moves the heart towards an experience of inner silence, boundless love, and intimate union with the Divine. 

While singing is involved you absolutely don’t need to be able to sing, just be willing to give it a go and feel the effects! As you let the vibrations of your voice and the mantra move through your body, you will begin to realign your energy on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
