Plant seeds of peace, joy and love with Julia Berkeley and Matthew Hufschmidt in a celebratory Spring Equinox Kirtan at Meditation Mount, Ojai, Sunday March 20th 2-4pm.
Kirtan is a call and response chanting practice that moves the heart towards an experience of inner silence, boundless love, and intimate union with the Divine.
Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been doing it forever come and enjoy the regenerative power of mantra and sacred sound amidst the mesmerizing beauty of Meditation Mount.
As Krishna Das says “The ability to sing beautifully is enjoyable, but not necessary. What matters is singing from the heart.” You don’t need to be able to sing, just be willing to give it a go and feel the effects!
The gate will open at 1:30pm to provide some time in advance to enjoy the grounds.
We will be seated outside in one of the most magical settings in the Ojai valley so please bring:
Layers to keep warm and/or sun protection depending on the weather
Yoga mat and/or blanket if desired
Extra cushions for comfort (back jacks will be provided)
Water
