Clear the mind, drop into your heart and align with the current of joy, peace and love flowing within you, through the practice of Kirtan.

WHAT IS KIRTAN?

Kirtan is a call and response chanting practice that moves the heart towards an experience of inner silence, boundless love, and intimate union with the Divine.

Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been doing it forever this practice will uplift your heart and soul. Krishna Das says “The ability to sing beautifully is enjoyable, but not necessary. What matters is singing from the heart.” You don’t need to be able to sing, just be willing to give it a go and feel the effects!

THE REPETITION OF THE HOLY NAMES REVEALS A PRESENCE HIDDEN WITHIN THE HEART. SOMETHING BEGINS TO HAPPEN THAT'S VERY DISTURBING - WE GET HAPPY.
Krishna Das

WHAT IS SHIVRATRI?

Shivratri is literally translated as the night of Shiva. In India is traditional to stay up all night!

Shiva is the force of dissolution, destruction and ultimate transformation that leads to liberation. He represents the formless aspect of consciousness from which arises the bliss of being, found when the mind comes to rest.

Shivratri is a time to redirect your focus and energy towards your innate joy and well being. It is the night on which Shiva is said to have saved the wold from destruction, darkness and negativity.
